Understanding Slots
What is a Slot?
A Slot is a container where stacks are minted and stored. Think of it as a parking space for your NFT character stack. With only 3,333 slots available for 9,999 cards, slots become valuable real estate in the NPG ecosystem.
Key Properties
- • Each slot has a unique public address
- • Slots are assigned to users via HandCash signature
- • Minimum 3 cards required to occupy a slot
- • Maximum 18 cards can fit in one slot
Slot Lifecycle
- • Empty: Available for minting
- • Occupied: Contains a stack
- • Tradeable: Can be sold with stack
- • Vacated: When stack is melted
Slot Ownership Model
How Ownership Works
Temporary Ownership
When you build a stack in a slot, you temporarily own that slot. The slot is assigned a public address created using your HandCash signature, giving you control over the stack inside.
NPG Majority Control
NPG maintains majority control of slots through multi-signature agreements. This enables fair battle resolution and prevents players from refusing to honor losses.
Slot Vacation
When you melt a stack, you vacate the slot, making it available for other players to use. Empty slots are valuable as there are only 3,333 available for all players.
💡 Pro Tip: Since slots are limited, holding multiple occupied slots gives you strategic advantage in battles and trading.
